By purchasing an annual membership for $25.00 and getting a membership card and a key and signing both the card and the sign up sheet you agree to these membership rules and guidelines and any other range safety requirements and rules set forth by the Dillon Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc. We are all volunteers and your membership and cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Member and Participant's Waiver of Liability
Member/Participant hereby agrees to the following:
I am participating in the use of the Dillon Rifle and Pistol Club, Inc. (DRPC) property and facility with the full understanding and appreciation of the risks and hazards involved with shooting sports and the possibility of serious or potentially life-threatening injuries.
I understand and agree that DRPC has not provided any firearms safety training other than the provision and posting of Rules and Policies at the range, on this form, and/or on the range web-site www.dillonrifleandpistolclub.com
I have read and understand the DRPC rules and agree to strictly adhere to the requirements therein. I represent that I have no medical, psychological, or other condition that would prevent my participation in the safe use of DRPC facilities. I represent that I have no criminal record or proceedings that would restrict me from legal possession or use of firearms.
I understand that my signature on this Waiver constitutes a waiver of liability in favor of DRPC and it’s assigns to the maximum extent allowed by applicable state and federal law, and of any liability on the part of DRPC or its members to include, but not be limited to, acts of negligence, injuries or damages arising from defective equipment, property, ammunition, targeting material, etc. by myself or other members and/or guests.
This waiver shall be valid against claims made by my heirs, executors, administrators, next of kin, successors, attorneys in fact, assigns or legal representatives. I knowingly, voluntarily, and expressly waive, release, discharge and hold harmless DRPC and any of its representatives, agents, officers, directors, stakeholders, volunteers, instructors, and relinquish any and all claims I or my estate, heirs, or any person claiming for me completely and without reservation as a condition of my membership or participation.
Range Rules
Treat all firearms as if they are loaded
Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to kill or destroy
Always keep your finger off of the trigger until you are ready to fire
Always be aware of your target and what is in front and behind it
DILLON RIFLE AND PISTOL CLUB, INC. IS AN UNSUPERVISED RANGE
1. A “CEASE FIRE” must be agreed to and communicated to all personnel on the firing line before moving downrange beyond the shooting positions. All persons not moving downrange must step to the rear of the firing line area.
2. All firearms must be clearly unloaded with actions open during a cease fire
3. No firearms or ammunition may be handled during a cease fire
4. “RANGE IS HOT” command may be communicated only after all personnel agree and are behind the firing line before commencing fire.
Lock the gate behind you as you enter and leave the range.
Alcohol and drugs are STRICTLY PROHIBITED at the range.
If you witness vandalism or unsafe shooter conduct please avoid confrontation and snap a pic of the person's license plate and report it to the Beaverhead County Sheriff's Office non-emergency dispatch 406-683-3700. We will prosecute all vandalism and unsafe shooter conduct as well as revoke membership if found guilty.

Shooters under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult member
Eye and ear protection are mandatory for all shooters and observers
Incendiary targets and ammunition are strictly prohibited (i.e. Tannerite, tracer rounds, etc.)
Steel and paper targets ONLY are approved for range use. Household items, refuse and shatterable items are prohibited
Armor and metal piercing ammunition is prohibited
Firing at targets outside the range boundaries including wildlife, stray ranch livestock, construction equipment and solar farm structures is strictly prohibited and may result in prosecution and permanent membership revocation
Membership cards must be fully displayed on your person while on range property and must be presented to range officials upon request
